What is LoungeSMP about?
LoungeSMP is a cozy Java and Bedrock survival server focused on building, trading, land claims, jobs, shops, voting, events, towns, and community projects.
How do I join on Java or Bedrock?
Java players use play.loungesmp.net. Bedrock players use bedrock.loungesmp.xyz with port 25627. Both editions join the same LoungeSMP world.
How do I make money?
Start with three jobs, complete job quests, claim skill tree rewards, build a farm, sell items through the server shop, and trade with players through shops or the Auction House.
How do I claim land on LoungeSMP?
Use /kit claim to get a golden shovel, then right click two opposite corners to claim land and protect your base. You can use a stick to check whether land is already claimed.
How do jobs work?
Use /jobs to open the jobs menu. You can join up to three jobs, level them by doing job actions, reroll up to two quests per day, and claim rewards as you progress.
How do player shops and the Auction House work?
Player shops let players sell or buy items from chest shops, while the Auction House lets players list items with /ah sell. Both are useful once you want to trade with the server community.
Where are the vote links?
All official vote links are on the voting page. Enter your Minecraft username exactly as it appears in-game, including the dot if you are a Bedrock player and it shows up in your name.
Where do I get support?
Support is handled through Discord. Use the support channel for reports, appeals, rank issues, bugs, and player problems. If Discord is not available, email support instead.
Are ranks required?
No. Ranks are optional support perks. They help support LoungeSMP and add convenience features, but the goal is to keep the server fair and rebalance perks if something feels too strong.
What should I do first on LoungeSMP?
Join the server, read the rules, claim a safe starter base, join jobs, vote for rewards, and use the wiki whenever you need the next step.
